Hoylake RNLI volunteer Dave Bates and swimming teacher Helen Diamond were live on BBC Radio Merseyside today speaking to host Sean Styles about the lifesaving lessons given to over 1,000 Wirral schoolchildren this summer.
They shared their top tips on staying safe at the beach and in the pool, from how to #FloatToLive to choosing a lifeguarded beach.
